Course creators & workshop leaders These people create and facilitate online courses and sometimes real world workshops that gather groups of people to explore field-specific topics. For example, as an educator how do you find and utilize free resources for the classroom? As a citizen scientist, how do you get access to academic research and project data? As a freelance video creator how do you discover and remix still and moving images using open tools? Courses Facilitated Courses Stand-alone courses We offer a variety of free online courses on topics ranging from copyright for educators to open science. Our stand-alone courses can be worked through at your own pace at any time, with or without others. Our facilitated courses run for a set period of weeks with an organizer that provides feedback and facilitates discussion. Workshops We run workshops that give people hands-on experience in teaching and learning about open. We also host events that result in the creation of resources, like course sprints. Events Course: Designing Collaborative Workshops Training programs We run real world training programs for specific groups of learners, like high school students in Kenya, elementary school children in rural China, and librarians in Latin America.
